Sineddoche Pinocchio

“Sineddoche Pinocchio” is Valerio Sommella’s project realised by Fabbro Arredi for the exhibition “Dear Pinocchio, Italian designers and graphic designers redesign the world’s most famous puppet”. The project is the result of a process of extreme synthesis, a subtraction and elimination of everything unnecessary to find its essence… a long wooden nose. Pinocchio disappears and only a spinning top remains, his synecdoche or visual metaphor.
