On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025, Fabbro Arredi is participating in the exhibition REVEAL – unpublished projects and prototypes by women designers that celebrates the creativity and innovation of female designers and architects.
Although women’s contribution in the design world has played a crucial role, it has often been underestimated or forgotten, and this exhibition aims to bridge this gap, REVEALING as the title suggests, that is, bringing to light projects and prototypes that, for various reasons, have never been realized or will be soon and that reflect the diversity and richness of women’s ideas.
The REVEAL exhibition offers an exclusive selection of pieces ranging from furniture to everyday objects, from living solutions to technological innovations and is divided into three moments: PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE. In the past, the projects of historic, well-known designers that have never been realized or have gone out of production; in the present, contemporary designers and their ideas in search of a manufacturer; and finally, the future with new generations and students from the schools of Design of the ISIAs of Faenza, Florence, Rome-Pordenone and the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana.
Fabbro Arredi achievements featured at the fair were the Alice sideboard by two students of the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, Theresa Zellner and Florian Nag, and the DOI coffee-table by Arch Micol Brezigar.
The setting of the exhibition REVEAL – unpublished projects and prototypes by women designers was designed by architect Elena Brunello and Mariacristina Giobbi, realized thanks to the sponsor Fabbro Arredi, a carpentry firm specializing in the creation of fine custom-made storage furniture and furnishings for public and private spaces.
